We’re delighted to report that our little website RescueDiva.com has sent small donations to six wonderful rescue groups. Each organization listed below received $50, bringing the total donations so far this month to $300!

Granger (formerly Jorja) is another reason to appreciate these groups. We met Jorja wandering the streets during a brutally cold winter on the Greek island of Kefalonia. After Spicy fostered and sponsored her, Stichting AAI found her a wonderful home for her with adopter Alinda in the Netherlands. Photo: Alinda

Would you help us TRIPLE that amount? Let’s sell 200 more copies of Rescue Diva’s romantic fiction story “Unchain My Heart” by Oct. 1st—only $2 per copy. The rescue groups will get ALL those profits, PLUS Rescue Diva will kick in $300 extra!

Buy a story, enjoy a fun read, and would you please SHARE THIS POST to help raise more $ for the critters?

Now, why do we love the groups to whom we’re donating?  Here’s just one of many examples…

Bruno’s rescue

Danish group Graeske Hunde answered our pleas and found a fantastic forever family for Rescue Diva sponsoree Bruno (photo above) last year.

Abandoned on the streets on the Greek island of Kefalonia, he was badly injured by a gang of unfriendly dogs. A hardworking independent volunteer, Dionisia, took him in and lovingly nursed back to health.

Now Bruno lives in Denmark with his mom Inge-Lise, dad Allan, and pooch brother Medo.

RescueDiva.com covered Bruno’s travel expenses from the island of Kefalonia to Athens, Greece (in the deluxe Athens Pet Taxi!), as well his pet hotel fees near the airport in Athens so that he could catch the flight that Graeske Hunde had arranged for him onward to Copenhagen.

Quite a journey for this sweet little guy, and a lot of hard work and planning for all involved, but completely worthwhile a thousand times over to see him enjoying that plush sofa!

Yet another reason to support these groups... Nala. “She was chained to a tree, 29 pounds (should have been 60), AND suffering from heart worm, all while managing to nurse her litter of pups,” wrote Nala’s adopter. “That was, of course, until Dogs Deserve Better came to her rescue... She is truly the most gentle spirit I have ever known. Though she doesn't fully trust all humans, Nala is friend to every animal big and small. She adores/annoys the rabbit, has made best friends with many cats (I like to call her Nala, Cat Whisperer) and has even befriended a couple of horses. She is also an angel around children, which has inspired me to train her to become a therapy dog. Thanks so much to DDB for rescuing my soul mate!” Photo: Dogs Deserve Better

Rescue Diva depends on sales of our romantic fiction to help create more real-life happy endings.

Please use a couple of bucks to enjoy a fun read, to spice up your life, and to replenish our rescue fund.

Rescue Diva proudly sponsors needy animals in the U.S. and around the world.

For example we help Kefalonia Animal Trust (KATs) provide free spay/neuter for hundreds of animals per year, which is one of the best ways to prevent the abandonment and misery of puppies like Noah and Kyla.

Fun romantic story just $2 ! ALL profits donated to rescue groups!

We also do in-the-trenches rescues of angels like Robin, Chance, and Tiger, with help from San Diego Animal Support Foundation, and of Marisol and Lisa, with help from Last Chance at Life.
