‘Don’t leave without me!’: Puppy Ipo will follow foster sister Jorja to a new life
Hi everybody!
I’m Ipomoni. I didn’t write any letters to you before because I was busy. I had to learn a lot of new stuff as soon as I came to live here. Before that, I didn’t have anyone to type for me.
I think you all must be very nice because the typing person says you really like me and say good things about me. I like you too!
It has been OK around here, but I got sad when my big foster sister Jorja told me she was going away to some place called Holland.
I like Jorja. She plays with me. Sometimes she knocks me over and sits on me but I don’t care. Sometimes I jump on her head.
I follow her everywhere. Who but Jorja would play with me in such a crazy way? My big foster brother Agapi plays with me too, but he’s not as much fun.
Then later Jorja gave me a big surprise. Guess what! I get to keep following her, at least for a little while longer. I get to follow her all the way to Holland!
She’s pretty excited. I think I’m excited, too, and maybe sort of scared. I don’t know what Holland is. But if Jorja is with me on the way there, it’ll be all right.
Some other people are going to take care of us there in the Holland place, Jorja says. They are the nice people in a group called Stichting Animal Association International (AAI)
Jorja says that our fairy godmother, who is named Anneloes Wagenaar Hummelinck, told the group all about us and showed them our pictures and made them love us. And she says that our sweet auntie Lia Theodoris is going to be with us on an airplane, something like a giant car up in the clouds that will take us to Holland.
The typing person and Agapi aren’t going. That makes me kind of sad, because I like sitting in the typing person’s lap, and I like grabbing Agapi’s tail when he’s not looking, then running away real fast. Ha ha!
But maybe there will be other laps to sit in, and other tails to grab in Holland.
I’m going to Holland! I’m excited! (I think?)
I’ll tell you more stuff later.
Bye.
