Earthquake Puppies: We’ve got new names!

Well we sure are getting to be famous guys, aren’t we?

Everybody knows we’re the Earthquake Puppies, raised by our brave and beautiful mommy Rhea during the crazy movin’ and shakin’ quakes and aftershocks here on our little Greek island Kefalonia. That was after our rescuer Peter Lee found her injured, starving, pregnant, and tied up to an old dune buggy.
But now we have our very own names, so… hey… we’re ready to rock your world!
Dig this… We are such important dudes that two nice people got together and donated 55 euros to the shelter Animal Rescue Kefalonia (ARK) just for the privilege of deciding what we’d be called!
We ourselves don’t need donations because RescueDiva.com is sponsoring all our expenses, Anta Papadatou has been fostering us, and Claudia Stellatou is finding us great new families with the help of Rinke van der Waal of Gaia Dogs and Ingrid Kramer.
[Editor’s note: RescueDiva.com’s previous name was SpicyStoriesSaveLives.com. Thus the “Spicy” inscriptions on the photos. 🙂 ]
Anyhow, our mommy taught us to share, so we wanted the donation to go to all the doggies and kitties over at there at ARK.
Do you think you might be able to send ARK a little something too? There are lots and lots of puppies, kittens, dogs, and cats living at ARK—about 370! They sure could use your help! Even just a few dollars, euros, pounds, pesos, or yen–whatever ya got!– could go a long way.
Then you could feel happy in your heart like the two people who donated that 55 euros to name us.
Here’s what they said… “Precious little ones, we know your names might change when you go to your forever families, but for now we hope you enjoy these names in good health and have lots of fun!”
Those two nice people don’t want us to say their names because they’re shy, but we sure can say THANK YOU to them!!! And if they were around we’d make sure we got ’em all slurped up with big sloppy puppy kisses. We’re sending the same to all you out there who are rooting for us!

Here at RescueDiva.com, we depend on sales of our romantic fiction to help create real-life happy endings like those of Claire, of Noble, Granger, and Raza, and of Rhea and her Earthquake Puppies.
Please use a couple of bucks to enjoy a fun read, to spice up your life, and to replenish our rescue fund.
Rescue Diva proudly sponsors needy animals in the U.S. and around the world.
For example we help Kefalonia Animal Trust (KATs) provide free spay/neuter for hundreds of animals per year, which is one of the best ways to prevent the abandonment and misery of puppies like Noah and Kyla.
We also do in-the-trenches rescues of angels like Robin, Chance, and Tiger, with help from San Diego Animal Support Foundation, and of Marisol and Lisa, with help from Last Chance at Life.
